VIRTUALITY

It'll be no secret that we here at Arcade love a good science fiction story. From the classics movies of yesteryear, to the engaging television shows of today, science fiction has continually evolved over the years, producing amazing reflections of the times they were released and the emotions they convey.

A favorite show around the HQ would have to be Battlestar Galactica, a provocative and moving show re-imagined by Ron Moore and David Eick. Battlestar ended its run earlier this year and Moore is branching out to create a new science fiction show, sure to turn some heads and possibly be just as great. Virtuality is the name and FOX is the station.

There is a twelve minute preview floating around the interspace, giving us a sneak peak at what to expect from the new pilot hitting the airwaves June 26. The show itself has not been greenlit, as FOX is waiting to see how well received the pilot is by both critics and audience alike. Thing being, they are releasing the pilot on a Friday, a known death timeslot for great television shows. It comes to no surprise that FOX hasn't been marketing the show well as FOX really has no faith in science fiction. Look at their past show history to see what I mean (we all ready lost Sarah Connor Chronicles) . And to make matters worse, June 26 is the release date for a little known blockbuster, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Looking at the odds, everything is stacked up against Virtuality.

But when their is will, there is hope. So we will keep our fingers crossed that this one sees the light of day for at least one FULL season. Check out the 12 minute preview by clicking the links below.
